Brow Mapping is a technique that is used to help find the ideal brow shape for your face. Your artist will mark specific points on your brows allowing you to highlight where your eyebrows should start, where the arch should be and where your brow tails should finish. After you are totally satisfied with your future shape you can go to next step.
Together, you and your artist decide on the color of your eyebrows according to your hair, skin color and the color of your brow hairs.
The process of creating fine dots with a specialized machine and covering them with pigment. If there is any discomfort at this stage another quick layer of numbing cream can be added to the area.
Day 1:
Do not touch the healing pigmented area with your fingers. With a clean and dry tissue, blot gently over the area to remove excess lymph fluid every 1 hour to prevent hardening of the lymphatic fluids. Before sleeping, rinse your brows gently with water and pat dry with a clean and dry tissue. Apply a thin, rice grain-sized ointment using a cotton swab.
Day 2-7:
The color may appear darker in the first few days. Continue to wash brows gently each morning and night with water and gentle, no-alcohol, unscented cleanser to avoid build up of oils, bacteria and dead skin, using fingertips in a light circular motion. Rinse brows properly, without leaving any soap on the brows. Pat dry your brows and apply a thin, rice grain-sized Ointment using a clean cotton swab. Do not over apply as this will suffocate your skin. Repeat the first two steps in morning and evening. NEVER put product on a wet or damp tattoo.
Day 1
Your brows might look like a block of color and you may think the pigment is too dark.
Calm down and stop checking your brows every five minutes. You mustn’t touch them or wash them because you might affect the intensity of the pigments.
Day 3-4
The color will fade a little bit, but it is still far from the final look. Your eyebrows have just started to heal. They will probably be itchy, its normal.
Day 5-7
The annoying powder brows scabbing stage starts. Some people’s powder brows will scab more than others’, which is normal because everybody heals differently. Some itchiness is also normal but you are not allowed to scratch your brows. You might ruin the results of the treatment. Let the scabs fall off on their own.
Day 8-10
The scabbing stage is done and your eyebrows might look patchy and too light. Don’t freak out and think that your powder brows disappeared. They look too light because your skin forms new layers over the pigment, which are lighter than the rest of your skin. The color will come back and the touch-up will fix the potential patches.
Day 11-28
The hardest part of the powder brows healing process is behind you. Now you can be more relaxed even though your eyebrows haven’t taken their final shape yet. You can start wearing makeup and go back to your everyday routine.
Day 28-30
Your powder brows are completely healed. They will probably look great much earlier than this, but you must get the first touch-up nevertheless.
The first touch-up is mandatory. Its purpose is to fix all the imperfections and change what you are unsatisfied with.
