Shape modeling and color selection based on your wishes and preferences. You can take your favorite lipstick on your appointment. Artist creates an outline of the future symmetrical lips’ form and applies an anesthetic cream, which will begin to work in 15 minutes.
Using special modern machine, artist applies the selected pigment with a sterile disposable module, working on the contour and filling the shape of the lips.
Artist explains aftercare details and offers to make a touch up in 4-6 weeks. Right after procedure, the lips look brighter than after healing. Swelling may occur. Lips will fade up to 70% in the process of healing. And on the touch up, you can add the color and improve the shape to obtain an impeccable result.
Day of the procedure
Swelling may occur. During the first few days, you may experience: swelling, bruising, dryness, tingling and tenderness. Lips will be tender at first after the procedure. Choose to only eat foods you can place in your mouth with a fork without touching the lips.
Day 1-7
Clean the treated area daily with mild warm water and non-alcohol soap. Then blot completely dry. Use patting motions only. No Scrubbing. No rubbing. No wiping. No scratching. Apply aftercare ointment on the clean and dry treated area.
Day 1-14
Keep your lips moist all the times with the aftercare product. After approximately 3 weeks after the procedure when no more scabs are present, discontinue the aftercare product. Begin to apply sunblock appropriate for lips to protect the pigment and a good lip balm.
Day 1
Lips have swelling, are tender, and have a heavy, thick lipstick look with a reddish-brick color. For the first few days, the color is darker than it will appear when healed.
Day 2-3
Lips have less swelling, a thicker texture, are orange, are sore, and have a hot feeling. They are pre-exfoliation.
Day 4-6
Exfoliation begins with very chapped lips. The color will become lighter as the epidermis sloughs off. It will appear that lips have lost all of their color during this phase of healing; Be patient. This is a process that does not yield immediate results.
Day 7-13
During this phase, lip color disappears and the frosty second chapping phase begins as a whitish, gray haze on the lips.
Day 14-21
Color develops more and more each day until day 21 (which is 3 weeks post-procedure).
Day 21-30
Healing is complete. The lip color you see is the color that you have. Your lips will remain a bit dry for a month or two. Use a good lip balm, and they will return to normal with full color.
