Cleaning and preparing
The esthetician carefully cleans and dehydrates brow area.
4 types of Solutions
The 1st chemical is applied, which softens the brows, straightens them, and makes them more elastic so that they can be molded into the desired shape (8-15min)2nd chemical is applied – the neutralizing solution. It sets the brows into the desired shape. This solution also includes keratin and nourishing amino acids (6-9min).3rd: your brows are covered with a brow tint in a desired shade (7-10min) (Tinting is optional)4th: moisturizing oil which covers brows and saturate them with vitamins.

Precare
Do not do any hair removal 48 hours prior to your appointment.
Shower beforehand – you shouldn’t get your brows wet for 24 hours after the procedure, so showering might be impractical.
Contraindications
- Pregnancy during the first trimester
- Using any Vitamin A or Hydrocortisone products (Retinol / E45) – Do not use for 3 days either side of the treatment
- Psoriasis/Eczema in treated area
- Alopecia
- Moles in the treatment area
- Recent Permanent Make up – must wait 4-6 weeks after 2nd procedure
- Sunburn on or around the brow area
- Ultra-Sensitive Skin
- Recent Anti-Wrinkle Injections or Fillers
- Medications: Blood thinning, antibiotics (Must wait 2 weeks)
- Eyelift – Must wait 4 to 6 months after the operation and a letter from GP stating you are suitable for treatment must be obtained
- No self-tanning products should be used on the face for one week prior to treatment.
- Cuts/abrasions/inflammation/swelling in or around the brow area
- Herpes simplex/eye infections/ folliculitis – Not suitable for treatment whilst infected
- Roaccutane (within the last 12 months)
- Excessive Allergies
- Recent scar tissue
- Trichotillomania
- Blepharitis
- Haemophillia
After care
- Do not apply makeup or receive any other brow treatments for 24 hours after your appointment.
- Avoid swimming, steam, or excessive sweating. Keep your brows dry for 24 hours after your appointment.
- Avoid touching your brows for 24 hours after the appointment.
- No tanning products should be used for 48 hours after the appointment.
- Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat 48 hours after the appointment.
- Do not apply Retin-A, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours after the appointment.
